I'm a divorced father of two who has become VERY frugal with my money since my divorce. I do a LOT of research prior to making ANY big purchase and buying furniture was no different. I went to a LOT of local stores trying to find the bedroom suit I was interested in buying. Once I found the suit, I came to bosmithfurniture.com to see if you guys had the same suit and how much it would cost. At the same time, I was being courted by DirectBuy to "join" their group and they "promised" BIG savings. So, I told the woman I would come by but the first thing I wanted to know was how much was my suit going to cost me. I laughed and explained to her the price I received from BoSmith was lower than DirectBuy. Oh yeah, and I didn't have to pay for the RIGHT to purchase furniture from you guys; BoSmith simply does business the RIGHT way, they SOLD me. No bait and switch. No junk furniture. No USED furniture. No BS. Just straight shooting. I understand having to talk to a customer service rep to get the prices, that's the only realistic way you can protect your prices.
At first, I was concerned that it would take FOREVER for me to get a quote. Somehow, I lucked out...I got an email from a Diana M, the SAME DAY. I called her and putting aside her incredibly friendly nature, I felt like she CARED that I bought what I wanted but it wasn't going to ruin her day if I didn't buy it. At least that is what I thought and felt...until she gave me the quote. Her quote was literally 32% less than what I got at my local store; she wasn't worried because she was CONFIDENT she had the best price. Did I mention the price I received from my new best friend, Diana M, INCLUDED shipping where as the local store needed to add an additional $600 to the price. That brought my discount up to about 40%. The only problem I had was with the armoire I received...it had some scratches from the factory. I wasn't sure what to do...afterall, I'm a guy...do us men REALLY care about those things? Well, Diana M thought I SHOULD. And what did she do? She went to battle for me. SHE felt I wasn't treated right by the factory. Listen to what I am saying....MY SALES REP WENT TO BAT FOR ME!!!!! I didn't beg her to do it, I didn't cry to her, I didn't really even mention it. Diana M wanted my purchase to be PERFECT. Now, I have a new armoire on it's way to be exchanged...free of charge.
Bottom line, I'll tell you the same thing I tell ALL of my friends and coworkers....if you can get it at BoSmith.com, you'd be a FOOL/IDIOT not to get it there. And if you want to be treated like FAMILY, ask for Diana M. I know I am coming off like I work for the company...I don't. I used to be in sales and I know what it means to treat the customer right...and Diana M does. And when I had the one problem with the armoire, Kristen jumped in and fixed everything IMMEDIATELY with getting me a new armoire. As I said, I've bought a bedroom suit...my leather sofa, chair and ottoman set are being built as we speak...and I'm discussing buying a wall unit next. Do your due dilligence and come back to BoSmith. Hopefully I won't get in trouble for this but, skip the 800 number and email firstname.lastname@example.org directly...you won't regret it. And when you do, tell her Mike from Maryland said hi and that you want a GREAT deal. ;-)

We did a lot of market research before deciding to go ahead with BoSmith...one has to be prepared to do this when ordering furniture without the middle man. *Your selection of furniture companies to represent is the most extensive I have seen yet. Lots of higher end companies to choose from! The sales people were quick at getting back with their quotes and their quotes were all at least $200 LESS than other online companies I have used in the past.
