Wondering what The Plan covers?  For fabric, leather, and vinyl upholstery furniture the following are covered:
  1. All stains excluding bleach and caustic solutions
  2. Dye transfer
  3. Punctures, rips and burns
  4. Breakage of frames
  5. Breakage of mechanisms
Coverage for case goods and other hard surface furniture includes:
  1. All stains excluding bleach and caustic solutions
  2. Liquid rings and marks
  3. Breakage of frames and panels
  4. Gouges, dents, scratches and chips that penetrate the finish, exposing the substrate
  5. Cigarette burns
  6. Household heat marks
  7. Checking, cracking, bubbling, or peeling of finish resulting from a specific incident
  8. Lifting of veneers

*These conditions may be covered by the furniture manufacturer's warranty, in which case the coverage provided by this Plan will only take effect after the manufacturer's warranty coverage has expired.
 
Filing a claim is as simple as picking up your telephone or logging onto the internet! You have 14 days after noticing the problem to report it to MFS. If it is a simple stain that can be removed easily a MFS representative will assist you on the telephone. If needed, they will also send out a self help kit within 24 hours. If a repair technician is needed to correct the problem a repair order will be sent to one within 24 hours! In the event the furniture cannot be repaired to satisfactory condition MFS will initiate a replacement order within 24 hours. Because manufacturer's often discontinue product lines MFS also guarantees that if a replacement piece is not available due to it being discontinued, they will allow you to reselect all matching pieces (of equal or lesser value) so that you will not have mismatched furniture in your home!
